In February 2024, the project’s first on-site training on Organic Farming and Business Plan was held in the Bono Region of Ghana.
Five days of in-depth training in which the eight participants were guided through theoretical and practical sessions on how to manage a greenhouse and find local and organic solutions for pest control, as well as how to develop a business plan and obtain green certifications.
The training aimed to improve the knowledge, technical and managerial skills of local teachers, trainers and farmers, supporting greater alignment of vocational education and training with emerging labor market opportunities.
Now the participants have been challenged to replicate the training in their own communities, to reach out and coach as many people on the topics addressed!
